The August 13 Reef release, also published by Golf News Net Clubhouse on August 26, names Reef as lead and Colorado-based CoralTree Hospitality on hospitality operations. OD Vincent, Reef's vice president of golf operations, said the firm wants to preserve what members already love about the community while investing for a year-round destination. The club's own site still presents Cornerstone as a private club community on 4,800 acres in Southwestern Colorado.

The clubhouse campus is the construction news. Cornerstone will add new locker rooms for golf and pool guests, a resort-style pool and hot tub, and an event lawn for family gatherings and club events. Adjacent to the 18th green, a new bar and grill will look over a putting course and join Cap Rock, already in the clubhouse, and the Elk Shack on the golf course.
Nearby, a new spa and thermal village is planned with indoor and outdoor thermal pools, private treatment cabins, relaxation cabanas, couples' experiences, and a coffee and juice bar. Training facilities are being upgraded into a performance center with racquetball and a fitness center. Eight overnight cabins will take members and guests for weekend golf trips and longer mountain stays.
The golf work sits beside that campus plan. Matt Dusenberry is renovating the 18, with completion targeted for summer 2027: upgraded turfgrass, refined fairways, revitalized bunkers, improved cart paths, hole 12 recast as a short par-4, and hole 18 recast as a par-5 finish. The same 2026 release still names Greg Norman as the original architect. Beginning in Winter 2026, Cornerstone real estate members gain exclusive access to Crest Club Telluride, a private alpine retreat inside the Madeline Hotel & Residences, Auberge Resorts Collection.
This is a golf-development story in the same capital-plan lane as Ocala's $63 million IronCrest sale, a quarry club whose clubhouse and homesites moved with the course, and Ohana's $191 million Panther National purchase, where a new clubhouse is still going up inside a housing community. One Cornerstone memberships are now available ahead of the next phase of growth. The community's public real estate release is anticipated in 2027. Clubhouse, spa, and cabin architects, square footage, a general contractor, and a dollar figure are not in the current release, so they stay omitted.
