POSCO Group puts Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea in Songdo, Incheon, up for competitive sale through Deloitte Anjin
POSCO Group has launched a competitive sale of Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea, the 18-hole members-only course in Songdo International City, Incheon, South Korea, that POSCO Wide bought in 2022 for about 300 billion won. Deloitte Anjin is the sale adviser.
POSCO Group has put Jack Nicklaus Golf Club Korea on the market, an 18-hole members-only Jack Nicklaus-designed club in Songdo International City, Incheon, South Korea, held by POSCO Wide, the group's real estate arm. Korean English-language wires dated September 23, 2026 reported that the group had selected Deloitte Anjin as sale adviser and circulated an information memorandum to major candidates under a competitive process rather than a private contract.
The same Seoul Economic Daily and Chosunbiz reporting placed the 2022 purchase at about 300 billion won after POSCO exercised a right of first refusal. The group assumed about 235 billion won in membership-deposit liabilities and put in about 70 billion won in cash, a price of more than 16 billion won per hole that the wires called the highest golf-course deal then recorded in Korea. The deal sits in Best Clubhouse's real estate column alongside other club transfers such as Panther National and IronCrest in Ocala.
A POSCO official, quoted by Chosunbiz, framed the sale as part of a restructuring of low-return, non-core assets meant to strengthen core businesses and financial health. Utilization of the club inside the group had been lower than hoped. Asia Business Daily tied the disposal to the non-core program under Chairman Jang In-hwa.

That program is larger than one golf club. Asia Business Daily counted 85 restructuring moves from 2024 through the first half of 2026 and about 2.2 trillion won in cash, including about 480 billion won in the first half from 12 sales and liquidations. Chosunbiz put the group's restructuring plan at about 3.5 trillion won by 2028.

The course hosted the 2015 Presidents Cup, the first staging of that event in Asia. Wires describe the clubhouse as top-tier and prestigious without publishing square footage. They do not name an asking price, a bidder shortlist, or a hard dollar conversion of the 2022 won figures.
