Mizner Country Club in Delray Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, has completed an approximately $7 million Master Renovation Plan for its clubhouse. A fully reworked One Mile Bar & Grille and an all-new outdoor Terrace are the centerpiece. Club + Resort Chef reported the finished work on September 22, 2026, in a story by Madison Hartline, and the South Florida Business Journal followed on September 29, in a story by Cortney Danielle Moore. Neither report names a reopen month.
Mizner is a private, member-owned club in western Delray Beach. The capital work is not a replacement house. It is a finished reset of the rooms members already use, with the casual grill and a new outdoor room carrying the program.
One Mile Bar & Grille had been a longtime member room. The redesign opens it into a brighter, more contemporary setting that can shift across the day, while keeping the easy character that made it a regular stop. Before construction, the club's vision page called for an expanded bar. Mark Bado, general manager and chief operating officer, said the aim was "a dining experience that feels elevated without ever feeling formal." He described a room members can use as the day asks: a quick bite, an unhurried meal, drinks with friends, or an evening on the Terrace, and another reason to treat the club as part of an ordinary routine.

The Terrace was planned as an open-air continuation of One Mile, meant to use the South Florida climate rather than fight it. Members can move from the air-conditioned dining room outside as the light changes. On that same pre-construction vision page, the club described a screened, covered patio seating 68 guests. The completion notices did not restate a final count. Clubhouse Manager Mackenze Lalov framed the pairing as more than a cosmetic refresh. In Lalov's account, the point was to make places members actually want to stay, down to an unhurried South Florida evening with friends.

The Master Renovation Plan ran past the grill. It refreshed the Main Clubhouse lobby and restrooms, renovated the Grandview dining room, expanded BKYD Market, and added a new Starter Shack at the golf facilities. The Grandview is the club's main dining room. Pre-construction plans also showed that room opening onto the new patio. The finished notices do not publish square footage for any of those rooms.
Kuo Diedrich Chi Architects, known as KDC, is credited as architect. The Business Journal attributes renovation imagery to the firm, and KDC has described leading the clubhouse renovation and the One Mile Terrace. Interior design for One Mile Bar & Grille is credited to Manhas Design, whose project page documents the Delray Beach room. The completion reports do not name a general contractor.
A larger Palm Beach County program is already underway nearby. Gleneagles Country Club in Delray Beach is in the middle of a $54 million clubhouse transformation, nearly eight times Mizner's figure. Mizner took a narrower cut: the grill members already favored, an outdoor room suited to the climate, and the everyday spaces that connect them.
