Bluejack Ranch, a private golf and ranch club designed by Tiger Woods and TGR Design, is taking shape in Aledo, Texas, just outside the Fort Worth city limits along State Highway 377. The 914-acre site is a former working ranch near Benbrook Lake, about 25 minutes from downtown Fort Worth. The Fort Worth Report puts the value of the combined luxury residential and working ranch program at $2.5 billion. While the championship course grows in and the first homes advance, a three-building complex called The Lodge serves as the club’s temporary central clubhouse.

Woods designed the course with Beau Welling as design consultant. The result is a par-72 layout that runs to roughly 7,700 yards. According to TGR Design, the golf program also includes a 10-hole short course and a double-sided practice range, so members can play and practice without committing to a full round. The Fort Worth Report describes the course as in place and ready to be watered, though a dry North Texas season could push its opening later. The championship layout has not been reported as open for full membership play.

In the meantime, The Lodge carries the club’s social life. PaperCity reported that the three buildings would serve temporarily as the central clubhouse as parts of the property opened to members in 2026, and that members can reserve The Lodge for overnight stays. Markets of Tomorrow has separately reported that a completed Ranch Club is serving as a home base for members during the grow-in. TGR Design describes the clubhouse as sitting on the highest point of the ranch, with long-range views to downtown Fort Worth. Anyone who has followed the capital behind the Golf House at Travis Club outside Austin will recognize the logic of investing early in the places where members gather, even when the first of those places is interim.

The partners include Andy Mitchell, managing partner of Lantern Capital Management; his wife, Kristin Mitchell; and PGA Tour professional J.J. Henry. The Fort Worth Report also identifies Woods as a developer partner, so his role goes beyond the design credit. Jonathan Ireland is the club’s president and general manager.

The first residential phase calls for about 125 luxury homes plus golf cottages, and the Fort Worth Report puts the average home price at more than $3 million. The opening mix includes the Horseshoe Homes, which run about 4,000 square feet with five bedrooms and five baths. Longer-term plans call for roughly 500 homes. At that scale, Bluejack Ranch belongs in the same conversation as the golf-led residential investment at Panther National.

Bluejack Ranch is gated and membership-based. PaperCity reported that it offers two tiers, a full golf membership and a separate ranch membership. Members also have access to amenities at Bluejack National, the sister club in Montgomery, Texas, about 50 miles north of Houston, which was Woods’s first design in the United States. The club has not announced initiation fees.

The non-golf program is broad. The working ranch is planned to include horse stables and an equestrian arena, along with a 20-acre dude ranch, spa and wellness facilities, and a golf performance center. PaperCity also reported a family entertainment hub called The Fort, with indoor bowling, arcades, and a production studio. A 100-acre commercial and retail district is planned along the property’s State Highway 377 edge. According to the Fort Worth Report, utilities and other infrastructure are in, ranch amenities are coming online, and several structures are vertical or nearing completion.

Southwest Fort Worth already has one high-end ranch club in Maverick Golf & Ranch Club, Discovery Land’s project with a Tom Fazio course. Bluejack Ranch gives the area a second, entirely separate one. What matters here is the combination of named partners, a Woods design with Woods himself in the partnership, The Lodge already hosting the member program while the course grows in, and a home product averaging more than $3 million. For anyone watching golf and residential capital move together, from Firefly Spring Hill to North Texas, Bluejack Ranch has its groundwork in place. The most visible open question is the weather.
