Stock Development has completed a $16 million renovation and expansion of the existing clubhouse at The Club at Olde Cypress in North Naples, Florida. The private golf club, designed by Humphrey & Rosal Architects with interiors by Clive Daniel Hospitality, is now fully online after a phased reopen.
Stock Development has completed a $16 million renovation and expansion of the existing clubhouse at The Club at Olde Cypress in North Naples, Florida, a private golf club and gated residential community now fully online after a phased reopen designed by Humphrey & Rosal Architects with interiors by Clive Daniel Hospitality. The work transforms the house already on the property rather than replacing it, and the owner funded the project without a member assessment, according to the club renovations page.
Plans circulated around September 2024, construction started in March 2025, Phase I reopened in early March 2026, the Greenside Grille arrived in late April 2026 as Phase II, and a September 14 Instagram post labeled “Officially unveiled” was a late social photo campaign rather than a same-week ribbon-cutting. The Business Observer reported the $16 million figure on March 6, 2026, citing a club statement after Phase I came back online.

The existing clubhouse measures about 34,000 square feet. The plans add about 10,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor program across a community of about 540 acres owned by Stock Development and operated by Stock Hospitality. David Humphrey of Humphrey & Rosal Architects led the architecture. Nancy Woodhouse, vice president of hospitality at Clive Daniel Hospitality, directed interiors. D. Garrett Construction, Inc., served as general contractor, and Outside Productions, led by Pat Trefz, handled landscape.
Phase I, detailed by Club and Resort Business after the early March reopen, put a redesigned bar, the Members’ Grille Room, and Main Dining with a wraparound bar back into service, along with the Cypress Room, the Cave à Vin wine cave, a Full Swing simulator, the Club Room with billiards and lounge seating, and three bocce courts. General manager Jerrod Tumbleson said, “This is not simply the unveiling of a renovated building, it’s the beginning of a new era for Olde Cypress. We’re at the crossroads of tradition and transformation, and our new clubhouse amenities will allow us to set a new standard of excellence for our membership experience.” Melissa Hansen, director of membership and marketing, added that the renovations, paired with expanded social programming, have changed how members gather at the club.
Phase II completed the outdoor half of the program. The Greenside Grille opened with a kitchen, a pizza oven, covered and open-air seating overlooking the course, an outdoor bar with televisions, fire pits, and lounge seating. The course itself, the first P.B. Dye layout in Collier County, the Florida county that includes Naples, is Audubon Certified, and a 2021 agronomic remaster stayed open while the clubhouse was under construction.
The finished Olde Cypress house now sits in a run of large clubhouse capital projects, including an Audubon Club about $24 million Naples renovation that remains in progress rather than fully online, a Mediterra $38 million sports and lifestyle center, and a Desert Highlands $35 million men’s locker room tied to a Nicklaus course.
